It was a six year search (told ya!).

During my college years, I was already heavy into the 7 Habits of Effective People Philosophy by Stephen Covey. It was the corner stone of my college life. It helped me quite a lot in developing my character, principles, and values. It’s probably the reason why I never got into the whole drug issue. It literally saved my life. I owe quite a lot to it.

Another one that was a life saver was Scott Peck’s The Road Less Travelled. It reminded me that life was not a party but rather a journey full of pain and frustration. It made me accept that "Life was difficult." Ironic-accepting it made me more relaxed. I no longer had to look for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Shit happens, get over it, learn, and move the fuck on.

After graduation, life was no longer difficult–it was hellish.

Before anything else go here.

Next, I don’t work for David Allen nor am I related to the guy. He’d be a nice uncle but I still wouldn’t want to work for him. Why? Read the book. Ruthless execution of tasks, man.

Okay,

Question: Why put up a blog about GTD? I mean, David himself has one already. We’ve got 43 folders, Lifehacker, GTD Wannabe, etc.

Answer:

1) This will serve as my collection and organizing bucket for my thoughts.

2) This will enable me to connect more with people out there using the same system of processing stuffs.

3) This will be the pulpit where I will spread the Gospel of David (allen, that is).

4) I will also be posting various GTD inspired tools and hacks in here as well (others as well as mine).

5) Because I want to (frickin’ brat).

Well! There goes my first post. Now better stop reading blogs and go do some productive work.
