Yep.

I”m trying my hand on part time blogging.

I’m not sure if I can announce what blog I’ll be posting on, but it’s right up my alley. It ain’t much but it’s a pretty good start. I’ll slowly ease out of my HR Job and probably, within the year, do this full-time.

How will this affect my posting here? I’ll still be posting twice a week. This blog is a personal project and I through it, found great friends.

I Am An Old Black Man

February 25, 2006, around 12:30 PM I dreamt.

I am an old black man named Ahab. I have grey to white hair and a moustache as well. I appeared like I was on TV. There is an old second story house behind me. The second floor window is open.

I am asking someone to put an important piece of machinery on the second floor. He was going to use a yellow crane. The crane and the man did not appear but was out of the camera shot.

Now, I’m not sure if I was Ahab, but it seemed that this was connected to a TV show I saw the other day. It was about Neville’s Moby Dick. Ahab was an old man fighting against God/Fate. I felt that the captain and I were the same.

But why was I black? Maybe because Moby Dick was white? 

Doppleganger of An Old Flame

Like everyone in the freaking blogosphere, I tried out WP.com and got jaded. After all the media hype, it was just a shadow of the greatest blog service ever–the big sister–wordpress.org (sorry i.ph).

Anyway…

Decided to give it ago again and found out that there were some new features added. Like global tagging, new themes, and the excellent (Pssst!!! i.ph listen to this one) widgets! Yeah! You can arrange the whole side bar! What’s on the top, middle, and below. Cool, eh?

I also found out I can upload my old blogger account (posts, comments, and all) to the wordpress one! It was like facing an old me. That’s the cool thing about writing journals–you get to see where you came from. Have you tried reading anything you did 3 years ago? There were times, I would cringe at my typos and stuff! Funny and depressing things in that ‘ol blogger account. Well, now it’s all the wordpress one.

Still, it’s not enough for me… I’m still sticking to this one.
